I just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know how valuable your home inspection proved to be to me.
As you remember, I had a moisture problem in my crawl space.  The estimate for the repair was $1000.00+.  Since this was a foreclosure property, and I was to buy it "as is", I was looking to lay out a bunch of money right off the bat!  As it turned out my realtor sent  a copy of your inspection report along with my final bid and the bank agreed to fix the moisture problem.  In this instance alone, the fee I paid ended up saving me $1365.00.  I saved an additional $200.00 when they agreed to other fixes you listed. I decided to really maximize your report, so I made a copy.  I highlighted everything that needs to be done and check it off as I get to them.  You really did a thorough check of my home and I sincerely appreciated all your time you spent.  I figure if I fix everything indicated, my home will be in top condition when it comes to resale time.  My initial wince at the inspection fee turned out to be a big smile at the immense benefit I received.  I will never buy a home again without an inspection.
